Hallowed Be Thy Name is in recognition and honor of black men killed by systemic racism. There is no way that I can capture every name but I did my best. This piece was incredibly challenging to paint. When I began adding the names by hand, I said a prayer for each one. As the mother of a black son, there is not a day that goes by that I am not concerned for his safety.
