The Wombman series was created in celebration of women’s bodies and all that they do. This particular piece depicts the resilience of black women and the armor they’ve had to wear. A large inspiration for this piece was the Dora Milaje Women from Marvel’s, Black Panther. I just really felt inspired by their beauty & armor.
