This painting was created in honor of my dear friend My An Lam Williams who transitioned from this earth in July 2009. This vision came to me about a year from from her passing. I didn’t realize the connection to her at first. After I painted it, something told me to count the butterflies & moths and there were exactly 38. My An was 38 when she transitioned. The message behind the painting was about freeing myself of restrictions and following my dreams.
